Iowa GIS Women’s Meetup
We’re excited to invite women working in GIS across Iowa to a new networking opportunity being held in Des Moines this October.
The Iowa GIS Women’s Meetup is a casual, informal gathering designed to connect women across the geospatial profession. Whether you work for a city, county, state agency, utility, consulting firm, nonprofit, or university, we’d love to have you join us. If you are questioning if you qualify, you do!
Event Details
• Wednesday, October 28th at 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• The New Northwestern Cocktail & Wine Bar (321 E Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50309)
• There is ample parking around the venue, both on-street and surrounding surface lots.
• Free to attend (food and beverages available for purchase)
There’s no formal agenda and nothing to prepare—just a chance to meet fellow GIS professionals, expand your network, and connect with others in Iowa’s GIS community. Registration is free, but we do ask you to sign up so that we can give the venue a headcount, see where people are coming from, and reach you if anything changes.
