I have been involved with IGIC since 2000 as a member and sitting as a state representative on several occasions, most recently from 2022-2024. Being involved with IGIC in my role within the State of Iowa - Division of IT as a Geospatial Coordinator has been extremely valuable. IGIC's mission to foster an efficient GIS environment through cooperation and coordination mirrors the work we do as GIS professionals in our day-to-day jobs. I would like to continue being involved with the IGIC Board to further that mission and work to define goals that work towards strengthening our mission.
