I've been with the City of Waterloo for 12 years; 10 years in the Engineering Dept. as a Draftsperson, and the last 2 years as GIS Coordinator in the MIS Dept. Prior to working with the City, I spent 2 years as a Map Maintenance Technician with Black Hawk County, 1 year as a GIS Technician with Linn County, and 2 years as a Survey Crew Member with Claassen Engineering & Surveying in Waterloo. I've enjoyed being on the board for the past few years and serving as Chair 2022-2023. If I'm reelected to the board, I look forward to continuing outreach activities like the annual Eastern Iowa GIS User Group meeting, as well as helping to update and refine IGIC's bylaws.
