You should attend if:

  • You make maps with or without a computer;
  • You use GIS in your daily job and want to see how others are using this technology, especially putting maps on the Internet;
  • You use GIS currently, but would like to expand its use to other parts of your department;
  • You would like to use GIS in your job but are having difficulty convincing others that GIS would be beneficial;
  • You think your agency should be using GIS, but need ideas on how to move forward….

This is an informal, informational meeting to see what’s going on with GIS in state government.  We’ll take inventory, see what the needs are, look for common directions.

Tell your state worker friends who might be interested.  Bring your favorite map.
