Principles of Cartography: Making Your Maps Look Good! presentation at the 2006 MAGIC Symposium by Micah Cutler, GIS Coordinator for Hardin and Franklin County. This presentation covers TALDOGS, common map design considerations, and examples of map design techniques. This is a non-technical presentation. This presentation was used again at the 2008 MAGIC Symposium in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of a technical workshop on cartography in ArcGIS.
