GIS Specialist Position Available with FEMA

This is a Full Time/Temporary position Hours are 7:00 Am - 5:00 PM
 Monday-Saturday
 Salary: $17-$21 an hour

 Two year experience with ESRI ArcMap 9.0+. Some database and/or remote
 sensing skills preferred. Able to work as part of a team in a fast
 paced, high production environment, with ever changing priorities and
 be willing to work overtime and work on Saturdays as needed. Hours and days may vary.
 Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic information provided by
 geodetic surveys, aerial photographs, and satellite data. Research,
 study, and prepare maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic
 form for legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes.
 Work with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). May design and
 evaluate algorithms, data structures, and user interfaces for GIS and
 mapping systems. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must live within a 50-mile
 radius of the duty station in Urbandale, IA, 50323.
