Schuman Named Senior Project Manager for GeoDecisions

Prior to joining GeoDecisions, Schuman was employed by the Iowa Department of Transportation in Ames, Iowa, as a geographic information systems (GIS) coordinator. He managed a wide range of software development functions, including developing a linear reference system (LRS) and a GIS-enabled data warehouse and Web portal.

Schuman will be responsible for managing various projects for transportation agencies across the U.S. He will also perform technical architecture duties and business development.

Schuman has 15 years of experience in GIS. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming. He has also earned the designation of Certified GIS Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute.
