IT Chief Receives Honor

Michael Armstrong was awarded the Distinguished Information Sciences Award by the Association of Information Technology Professionals, which has about 7,000 members across the nation. Armstrong has worked for Des Moines for about seven years and helped with many of the city’s computer and Web programs. The award was established in 1969.
