Spring 2008 IGIC Board Quarterly Meeting

Meeting Agenda

The IGIC Board will have its Spring Quarterly Board Meeting on April 10, 2008. All IGIC Board members are required to attend. The meeting will be at the Joint Forces Headquarters, 6100 NW 78th Ave. in Johnston, Iowa. Please bring a photo ID.

The meeting will start promptly at 10:00am. Lunch will be $6.00 - salad and pizza. Pop and water will also be provided.

John Warming, GIS Coordinator from the Iowa Department of Public Health, will talk about how they use GIS and what things they wish they had or how he thinks things could be improved.

The Board will be voting on our Top 10 Priority List. You may view the list here.  If you have comments about this topic, please email the entire board for discussion prior to the meeting.

We will also be hearing more about the two CAP grants that IGIC has received: one being the 2007 Return on Investment grant that we are wrapping up and the other is the 2008 that we are still planning.  Jim Giglierano from the DNR will be talking about those.

Elections will be taking place between this meeting and our next meeting in July.  I hope that anyone who is a member of IGIC who would like to learn more about our board and how we operate will come to this meeting.  If it's of interest to you, you are welcome to contact Anne Packard or Micah Cutler to express interest in running for the board. We will need to have a final list by the end of April 2008.
